Kanatal is approximately 300 km away from Delhi, 70 km from Dehradun, 75 km from Rishikesh and 100 km from Haridwar.

The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport located about 22 km of the city of Dehradun. It is approximately a 20 minutes drive to the town of Rishikesh and 45 minutes to Haridwar and Dehradun. From here one can take a taxi to Kanatal via Dehradun or via Rishikesh both ways in approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.

The nearest railhead is at Haridwar or then Dehradun (Approximately 80kms).
